Well done to the 79 TYs who completed their Gaisce Hike and camped at the IOAC Tagoat on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th September. All students and teachers involved had a very enjoyable time.
On Thursday morning the group started their hike in Kilmore Quay and spent the day walking the beach to arrive in Carne Beach that evening. Tired and hungry but in good spirits the students and teachers got a bus back to the IOAC campsite.
The following day the Transition Years spent the day in team building actives, which included high ropes, archery, team challenges and battle zone archery.
