A number of Transition Year students represented our school at the Wexford Enterprise Awards which were held in the pleasant surroundings of the Wexford Opera House on the 27th of March.
The five groups involved were Mobii, Eat like an Athlete, Decorative Display, Wood u Believe and 2019 Mini Company Calendars.
All of the students involved had generated some fantastic ideas as part of their school mini company project and created wonderful products to display on the night.
Edward O'Dowd, Sean Walsh and Aaron Byrne were awarded 3rd place in the Senior category with their mini-company ‘Eat Like An Athlete.’
Barry Cunnea won the Social Contribution Award for the countless hours of hard work he invested in his venture ‘2019 Mini Company Calendars.’
Adam Roche and Ryan Cullen’s mini company ‘Mobii’, while unfortunately didn’t place in a very competitive category, received a special mention for their fantastic display and diligent work.
Well done to all five groups for qualifying for and competing in the Wexford Enterprise Awards.
